Following the Election on 1st May 2025, the new parish council for Llanfair Waterdine will hold its first meeting on Monday 12th May at the Everest Hall at 7:30pm. Because the number of people nominated as candidates was less than the number of seats, the nominees will be elected unopposed and there will also be 2 vacant seats. These vacant seats can be filled by co-option, either at the meeting on 12th May or at a subsequent meeting.

If you have ever considered becoming a parish councillor then why not step forward and put yourself up for co-option? It's a simple process (just a couple of forms to fill in) and you would know whether or not you had been successful at the council meeting.

If you are interested and/or want to discuss co-option and how to put yourself forward, please contact the Clerk by email at [email protected].
