Councillor Vacancy

There is one vacancy on the Parish Council, which may be filled by co-option. 
Do you have a few hours spare time per month?

  • Do you want to be involved in your community?

If the answer is YES, then apply to become a Parish Councillor!

If you would like to serve as a Councillor, please contact the Clerk (details below), who will send you an application form, or you can download the form from this site.

To qualify, a person must be at least 18 years old, a British citizen, eligible Commonwealth citizen or a citizen of a member state of the European Union.

Also, the person must either be registered on the Electoral Register for the parish or live in, own land or be a tenant of land or premises in the parish or work mainly or only in the parish or live with 3 miles of the parish. And finally, you must not be disqualified from holding office as a Councillor.

Applications are invited.       
Co-option to the Parish Council will be considered at each meeting until the vacancy is filled.
