Vacancies on the Parish Council

Applications are invited to fill two vacancies on the Parish Council.

No experience is necessary.

• Do you have concerns relating to the parish and want to do something about it?

• Do you have innovative ideas for the council?

MAKE A CHANGE – BECOME A PARISH COUNCILLOR!

What does the Parish Council do?

• Holds public Parish Council meetings 6 times a year.
• Responds to consultations, including on planning applications.
• Reports problems on the highway to Shropshire Council.
• Promotes better Wi-Fi connectivity in the Parish.
• Arranges drainage works under the Environmental Maintenance Scheme, match funded by Shropshire Council.
• Considers a budget each year, and sets the precept.
• Works with editors of the Llanfair Times.
• Appoints Trustees for the Llanfair Waterdine Community Trust.
